Why did Malcom flee the country after his fathers death? Does this make him look innocent or guilty?
Anvisha [2.4K]

Answer:

Since Malcom and Donalbain were suspected of the murder, they flee from the country after his father's death. This make him look guilty as he tried to escape from the place.

Explanation:

In the play ‘Macbeth’, after the murder of their father “Malcom” was not declared the king immediately. So, he and his brother, Donalbain decided to flee from Scotland. They were scared of their own lives because they could also be killed anytime. So, they flee at a safer place.

But their actions of flying away from Scotland create suspicion. People will question their honesty, questioning the reason they flee if they did not murder the king. Ironically, Macbeth became the king.
