The Sail-Ship of Life...

I lonely stand as a voyager on this sail-ship

Travelling to reach my destination !

It’s a journey not in my control!

Driven by the wind against my will!

Sometimes it takes me through the calm oceans

Sometimes I tackle the destructive storms !

Often, I meet some voyagers on my go!

But none accompanies me eternally

As all have their own aspirations!

Wind forces me to take the lengthy perilous paths

By impeding the shortcuts to my destination!

I lonely stand as a voyager on this sail-ship

Travelling to reach my destination!

I’m just a beginner in this voyage!

My destination is half a trillion miles away!

I must overshoot the eternal seas, till the end of my voyage!

I lonely stand as a voyager on this sail-ship

Travelling to reach my destination!

No matter how hazardous the trip proves to be,

I must move forward, conquering the fear in me!

I pass through infinite ways as I go

It’s for the last time as I won’t return!

As I complete the sixteenth year of voyage

I realise the true sense of my journey!

I lonely stand as a voyager on this ‘sail-ship of life’ !!!

Driven against my will by the wind called ‘faith’ !!!

To my far away destination termed as ‘death’ !!!
