<u>They were been guided by God. </u>When I say "they", I am talking about specifically to the first ones - Moses and Joshua.

According to the Bible, God was instructing <u>Moses</u> and telling him where to go and what to do. He has been chosen by God to be the leader, and free them to Egypt. The same thing happens to <u>Joshua</u>, the one who assumes the leadership after Moses's death. <u>Both were guided by God to find the Promised Land.</u>
