Answer:

(1)    What is a Mercator map?

Answer: Mercator is a conformal cylindrical map projection that was originally created to display accurate compass bearings for sea travel. An additional feature of this projection is that all local shapes are accurate and correctly defined at infinitesimal scale. It was presented by Gerardus Mercator in 1569.

(2)    What is a Robinson map?

Answer: The Robinson projection is unique. Its primary purpose is to create visually appealing maps of the entire world. It is a compromise projection; it does not eliminate any type of distortion, but it keeps the levels of all types of distortion relatively low over most of the map.

(3)     What is a polar map?

Answer: A map projection designed so that a straight line from the central point on the map to any other point gives the accurate distance between the two points.

(4)     What is a Albers map?

Answer: The Albers equal-area conic projection, or Albers projection (named after Heinrich C. Albers), is a conic, equal area map projection that uses two standard parallels. Although scale and shape are not preserved, distortion is minimal between the standard parallels.

According to the establishment clause, how would a historical society’s posting of the Ten Commandments along with the history o
g100num [7]

I believe the answer is: The posting would not be in violation of the clause because there is a learning purpose to the items

Establishment clause banned the government officials to create a legislation that force citizens to respect a certain type of religious establishment. Ten commandments was made as basic rule of life for Christians.

Only posting the teachings could not be considered as the government 'forcing'the citizens to obey it, unless they made a legal punishment for the people who disobey them.

Your principal wants to invite a celebrity speaker to your school. Think about the celebrity you would choose to have speak; the
Nady [450]

Answer:

Dear principal,

Have you ever thought of having a celebrity speaker step foot on our school? A celebrity speaker can add great value to an event, including: increasing event attendance, building cachet, driving publicity, supporting social media campaigns and generally increasing overall excitement for the event. We have to get a celebrity speaker step foot here!

For example, I would consider bring to our school Ellen Degeneres because she can tell us about what she has gone through all her life. She can perform a number of different roles. They can energise a crowd, inspire them, support the event themes, add value by sharing insider knowledge, offer a new perspective, break up the more routine aspects of the event and entertainment

At the top of their fields, these celebrity headliner speakers can bring a high level of expertise and authority to any event they speak at. As a headliner, these popular celebrities cover topics including politics, lifestyle, diversity and equity, entertainment, and more.

All in all, I forsure think we should have a celebrity speaker come to our school!
