In the above she claimed that pesticide were doing a lot of damage to the environment. This claim was expressed fully in her book: Silent Spring.

To support her claim, she indicated that there were a lot of associated carcinogenic and effects resulting form tumors.

  • That the Chemicals irradiative and that they are modifying the way the world eco-system.

  • That the chemicals should not be called 'insecticides' but 'biocides'.

The chemical engineer Mr. Robert White-Stevens claimed her suggestion that pesticides are destroying life are exaggerated and a distortion of actual facts.

According to the engineers, the real threat was not chemical but biological and that the threat was the insects that ravage the supply of food made for man and transmit diseases.

Images of insects flying all around perched on kids and on people were the images that was flashed on the screen as the chemical engineers made his counterclaim.

For the first one, I would start by mentioning the characters crime, add something about how it was inexcusable, then incorporate a condensed precis on the characters situation (leaving out any bits that could embody the characters freedom). And end with a statement that discloses that your appeal is unarguable because (enter main argument here) and that is why so and so should be imprisoned. 

<span>For the second question, I would personally choose the feminist because it would in theory be easier to explain their basic philosophy and how it is affecting the plot.
