Graph the transformation of the figure.
yKpoI14uk [10]

This is pretty hard to answer completely because I can't graph it for you.

However, I can give you the coordinates by what the image provides.

For 7, there are 4 points:

(1, 4), (4, 4), (1, 1), (4, 1)

To translate, you can either look at it graphically or manually add/subtract numbers from the ordered pairs.

Remember that left/right applies to the x-coordinate and up/down applies to the y-coordinate:

(1-3, 4+4), (4-3, 4+4), (1-3, 1+4), (4-3, 1+4)

You get:

(-2, 8), (1, 8), (-2, 5), (1, 5)

Graph those and you'll get the translated rectangle.

Hope I helped :)

Suppose that you have a square pyramid like the one pictured. Which plane section will produce a triangle? Question 6 options: A
arsen [322]

The plane that would produce a triangle is A, a cut parallel to the vertical axis, directly through the vertical axis.

What is a squared pyramid?

A square pyramid is a geometric shape having four triangles, five faces and a square.

Properties of a squared pyramid

  • It has a five bases
  • It has four or greater equilateral triangular faces meeting above the base
  • All the edges, sides and angles are equal

Since the sides are equal, cutting parallel to the vertical axis forms a triangle.

Therefore, a cut parallel to the vertical axis, directly through the vertical axis would produce a triangle.

List the sample space for rolling two dice and finding the sum of the numbers. How many 8's are there in the sample space? [Assu
Reptile [31]
Using the given assumption, there are 3.

The sample space for rolling two dice and finding the sum is:

2 3 4 5 6 7
3 4 5 6 7 8
4 5 6 7 8 9
5 6 7 8 9 10
6 7 8 9 10 11
7 8 9 10 11 12

From the sample space alone, there are 5. However, since a 3 and a 5 is the same as a 5 and a 3, this means that 2, 6 is the same as 6, 2 as well; this takes 2 off of the 5, leaving us 3.
