Answer:

possibly because,  Germany is struggling with the legacy of the  Second World War, when they caused a lot of suffering, lead to the death of many people and forced many to become refugees. By being more open to refugees I think Germany is trying to compensate for the wrongdoings from the past.

BARSIC [14]

Answer: Sino-Japanese

Explanation:

It is also known as the First Sino-Japanese War. The war demonstrated the power of the Qing dynasty to oppose superior Japan. During that period, Japan took over regional domination of the Far East. In the war, China lost Korea, which previously had a vassal status towards China. The end of the war brought a lot of turmoil and resentment in China, which led to the outbreak of the 1911 revolution.

Inuits were predominantly what
BabaBlast [244]

Answer:

For the inland Inuit, the caribou was the most important resource; it provided meat, a hide for clothing, and sinew for rope. The coastal Inuit hunted mostly seals and walruses and, depending on the region, narwhals and belugas; of course also the occasional caribou. The seals were used for food for men and dogs.

Why was water so important for traders in America’s wilderness? What about roads
OLga [1]
Usually rivers were the important factor here. When you had control over the rivers you could control who traded who and so on. There more rivers you had in your territory the better for you. Everyone could use roads yes, but rivers allowed the big shipments on ships and boats to be transported from one place to another!
