Answer: The argument is ineffective because their agrument is based soley off opinions rather than factual evidence. The use of opinions in an agrumentive essay is usually quite taboo because it makes you seem much less of an intellectual writer. Their claim is 'It is super important to colonize the moon because we will run out of roon on Earth' which is based on what factual evidence? Their support is their neighbor saying we are ruining the Earth, and while there is factual evidence of climate change it is not stated or brought up. Their supporting sentence falls flat. Their conclusion is that the moon is great, which is in fact another opinion. Basically, this argument has no evidential pull like a good strong agrumentive piece can have due to the over use of personal diction and opinions.
