This question, I believe, is very subjective. Depending on the actual painting, what the parts are in the rubric of an assignment, etc. I would go with B.) Chronological because the essay is seeming to be informative, and most essays that are informative are best with either Chronological organization or Order of Importance. Though, the popularity with the Chronological organizational pattern seems to speak for itself. I hope I was able to help!

Spatial order is another principle of organization. In this pattern, items are arranged according to their <u><em>physical positions</em></u> or relationships. To use spatial order in your essay, <u><em>emphasize how objects</em></u>, people, places, or concepts relate to each other in a particular manner.

(Because you're writing an essay about something that has to be explained <u><em>from sight</em></u> -what you see- it is considered an <em>Spatial Essay</em>.)

There isn't a <em>logical</em> way to explain the painting.

There isn't a <em>particular order</em> that you must explain the painting. ( Both eliminating option <em>B</em> and <em>C </em>)
