Answer:

The two times Odysseus's men don't listen to him were when they feasted on the wine and meat in the land of the Cicones and also when the scout he sent to investigate the land of the Lotus-eaters refused to leave the land and had to be forcefully taken by Odysseus.

Explanation:

The two instances when his men did not obey him were-

1. In the chapter "Sailing from Troy", Odysseus reveals how he had ordered his men to take their plunder and make a hasty retreat. But his men instead feasted on the wine and meat, Odysseus reveals <em>"My men were mutinous, fools, on stores of wine. Sheep after sheep, they butchered by the surf and shambling cattle."</em> During their enjoyment, some fugitives of their captives ran to get help, and thus, the men were attacked by the Cicones, leading to more deaths for Odysseus's men, <em>"six benches were left empty in every ship". </em>

2. After they escaped the Cicones and sailing for nine days, they came upon the island of the Lotus-eaters. Odysseus once again ordered two picked men and a runner to scout the land and come back with a word about the inhabitants. The men instead <em>"longed to stay forever, . . . forgetful of their homeland." </em>Odysseus <em>"drove them, all three, wailing to the ships, tied them down under their rowing benches"</em> until the effect of the flower wanes.

Answer:

The answer is option C

Explanation:

Feline conduct incorporates non-verbal communication, end propensities, hostility, play, correspondence, chasing, preparing, pee stamping, and confront rubbing in household felines. In a family with numerous felines, the cooperation can change contingent upon which people are available and how confined the domain and assets are. Most proprietors consider this to be an indication of friendship and welcome this conduct. At the point when felines rub against articles, they are exchanging their aroma. It is nearly as though they are asserting proprietorship and we are one of their effects. Your feline head-butting or nestling your face stores fragrance from organs in their cheek area.Kittens may grow up to be meek in the event that they are not mingled early. Albeit each feline has its own identity, all felines have a few qualities that a few people discover charming and others find off-putting. Felines can be curious, neighborly, fun loving, dynamic, adoring and free.

Answer: Compassionate

Explanation:

  1. Petulant is incorrect because it means that the volunteers were bad - tempered and volunteers usually are generous.
  2. Clear is incorrect because it is stating that the volunteers were understanding when they were gathering over 100 boxes of food.
  3. Both compassionate and resolute would be good answers for this question since resolute means determined and compassionate means a feeling of concern towards others. However, compassionate would be a better choice since the volunteers are putting all this effort in to help the physical needs (food) of the people in the local pantry.
