In "Nicholas's Diary: April 2 and 3," what is Nicholas’s first thought when he and his father leave home to go treasure hunting?

It is not going to be the type of treasure hunt that he thought it would be. The treasure will be carefully hidden and closely guarded. He will not be finding gold or silver, but something far more important. He will not have a very good story to tell his friends at practice on Monday.

Ahat [919]
In "Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day" Shakespeare promises the subject of his sonnet Immortality. He says that as long as men can breathe (which basically means as long as men exist on this planet) or as long as eyes can see, the feelings and the poem will exist, and it gives her life, thus making her practically immortal.

How do text features and structures aid our understanding of central idea and supporting details? What role does inference and t
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer:

Text features and structures help you locate important information in a text. Knowing the purpose of the text feature helps you decide at which text feature to look when you want to understand your text better. Organized by purpose, the chart identifies text features and how they help the reader. Text features and structures also help readers determine what is important to the text and to them. Without a table of contents or an index, readers can spend wasted time flipping through the book to find the information they need. Special print helps draw the attention of the reader to important or key words and phrases. An inference is an idea the reader can draw while you're reading the text using existing data, which includes text and structural features. So it's good for readers to use the text features to strengthen their inference.
