The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

The main idea of "capturing the moment " by Gary Soto is the emotion Lisa feels when she got back home from school and she realizes that something is different. She looks at the area and finds that the pouring rain created a small lake. She is fascinated with the view and she decides to draw a picture. She likes to draw. So she knelt down on the muddy soil and takes a piece of paper from her bag. She grabbed a pencil and starts to draw the beautiful view. She is enjoying the moment with her dog "Pecas," when the phone rings. It is her mother asking her to do some chores such as thaw the meat. Then she goes back to reality.

What preparations for war has Blefuscu completed?
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Explanation:

Lilliput and Blefuscu are two fictional island nations and they are also one of the main things of the novel.

They are appearing in the first part of the 1726 novel Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift.

 • In this novel, there are two fictional island nations that are mentioning and those are Blefuscu and Lilliput.

Blefuscu was in the neighborhood of Liliput which means that those two island were very close and as it gets in the literature ,they started the conflict. The King of Blefescu island was planning an invasion into Lilliput but the king of Lilliput had heard about it and then it all started.

After that, Gulliver had suggested that he can help the King of Lilliput and the King agreed.

 • The Gulliver was the one who made all the preparations for the war between Blefuscu and Lilliput islands. First preparation, was when he was laying behind a hillock at the coast where Blefescu people will pass by. He was the one who knew everything about the sea and how deep it is. Secod thing was that Gulliver had waded into the sea with iron hook cables and swam to the Blefescu fleet. Blefescuian forces had saw him and how giant he is so they were frightened and the sailors ran away and Gulliver had pulled the entire fleet to Lilliput by using the special cables that he had.

PLEASE HELP!!!
EleoNora [17]

Part A:

sources:

unable to link sorry

Part B:

setting: background

similarity: both are supposed to represent a rose garden.

Difference: one is much more of a courtyard and the other looks much more like a shed.

characters: costume

similarity: very similar, all old fashioned. They have the main guy, a servant, a knight and a man named toby.

characters: body language and facial expressions

similarity: lord doesn't know how to smile. toby gets mad that the lord wants him to curtsy for him, the foolish night is happy to be included and the servant is quiet.

tone of voice

similarity: main guy is just some angry old guy with an angry, full of himself tone

actions

similarities: The three side characters are sneaking up on the lord as he finds this letter.

differences: in one video the three impersonate statues while in the other they impersonate being flowers in a garden.

lighting

similarity: very well lit you can tell it is supposed to be day time during this scene

camera: focus and angles

difference: in one video the camera focuses more on the lord while the other video focuses on the three characters.

dialogue: word choice

similarity: old

difference: one is much easier to understand while the other has more difficult language

dialogue: emphasis

similarity: was on the note and three characters.

Part C:

It is obvious to see that these videos are recorded in different times and by different actors, however both are very done. The first video seems as though it was done many years ago. the 2nd might show a modern version in someone's backyard and with a much poorer production.

The plays are very similar to each other, both have amazing actors who play the four characters, the attire is on point and the backgrounds are similar to the extent that you can catagorise the setting into being some sort of rose garden.

It is clear that the dialogue was different between the two. In the first video, the dialogue was much older and difficult to understand. The second video was more modernised to the point where the language was more simplified and easier to understand while still keeping that “shakespearean tone”.

In conclusion both videos did an amazing job sticking to the original play.
