Read the following excerpt from Levitt and Dubner’s Freakonomics. He also believes that employees further up the corporate ladde

r cheat more than those down below. He got this idea after delivering for years to one company spread out over three floors—an executive floor on top and two lower floors with sales, service, and administrative employees (Feldman wondered if perhaps the executives cheated out of an overdeveloped sense of entitlement. What he didn’t consider is that perhaps cheating was how they got to be executives.) Which best describes the type of reasoning the excerpt uses? Feldman uses deductive reasoning because he works from a generalization to arrive at specific examples. Feldman uses deductive reasoning because he arrives at a broad generalization based on another generalization. Feldman uses inductive reasoning because he formulates a generalization based on specific examples. Feldman uses inductive reasoning because he formulates a generalization based mostly on experience.

In my opinion, the correct answer is A. Feldman uses deductive reasoning because he works from a generalization to arrive at specific examples. He started with the general premise that people in the company cheated. Then he observed that those who worked on the third floor cheated more. His deduction was that the higher up the ladder you are, the more you cheat. Hence, cheating depends on your position.

Read the concluding paragraphs of "John F. Kennedy's Moon Speech—Rice University."But if I were to say, my fellow citizens, that
yaroslaw [1]

Answer:

The answers are C and D are the correct answer.

Explanation:

Moon Speech - Rice University was addressed on September 12, 1962. The official name was Address at Rice University on the Nation's Space Effort, and president John F. Kennedy delivered it.

Letter C is correct because the speaker mentions that it is necessary to do something, and it also indicates how it should be done (boldly;) it is also mentioned that it is necessary to achieve the goal soon.

Letter D is also correct; as seen at the end of that phrase, the speaker mentions a future action when he says and we're going to climb. It is necessary to mention that the speaker uses the first person of plural we in both cases, to indicate that he is part of a group.
