They are the same amount. if you divide 60 by 5 it is 12 and when you multiply .75 by 12 it equals 9. so Both are $9.00 an hour.

Nicholas says that (2^6)(2^6) equals 2^12 and also equals 4^6 do you agree?
stiv31 [10]

<u>•</u><u>To check condition:</u>

(2^6)(2^6)=2^12

Step 1:

→{2}^{6}  \times  {2}^{6}  =  {2}^{12}

Step 2:

→{2}^{6 + 6}  =  {2}^{12}

powers add whenever multiply sign is between two numbers

Step 3:

→{2}^{12}  =  {2}^{12} ✓

Step 4:

4096 = 4096✓

So the first condition is true☑️

<u>•</u><u>Let's check other condition:</u>

4^6=2^12

Step 1:

→{4}^{6}  =  {2}^{12}

Step 2:

→4096 = 4096✓

At last we get that both statements are true☑️

How do I graph that
nika2105 [10]
Start by finding the vertex, which is the point the parabola turns. The x value is -b/2a, which you have in your notes here. b = -8 and a = 2 and therefore the x value of the vertex is 2. Plug that in to find the y value, which is -2.

Start by plotting this point and the y intercept, which is 6. The parabola will be a U shape, which goes upwards starting at the vertex. If you draw that using the side with the y intercept, you can just mirror it on the other side of the vertex.
