Which kind of phrase are the underlined words in the sentence? Shel Silverstein, a popular author of children's books, was born
sattari [20]
You have to tell us which words are underlined, but I have a feeling the words were "a popular author of children's books." which is an appositive. Author is the same thing as Shel Silverstein.

Is stereotyping the same as prejudice? explain
Kruka [31]

Answer:

Prejudice is a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience/evidence. It can also mean to dislike, hostility, or unjust behavior deriving from unfounded opinions. Prejudice can be used in different ways, it depends how you're using it.

A stereotype is a fixed, over generalized belief about a particular group or class of people. By stereotyping we infer that a person has a whole range of characteristics and abilities that we assume all members of that group have.

So no, Prejudice and Stereotyping are not the same

Hope this helped! :)
