In the crucible, the court realized that what they were doing was a mistake. They were condemning innocent people to death based

on lies told by the girls. Paris brought news that Abigail was gone and that she stole some of his money. These issues rested heavily on those who were falsely accusing the people of witchcraft. However, Mr. Danforth sought to protect the court's reputation and so could not free the innocent people in spite of knowing the truth. They summoned Elizabeth to convince her husband, John, to confess to witchcraft. When the couple met, John found out some of the people had already confessed. However, some of his friends refused to comply.

At that moment, John asks Elizabeth to lose about the adultery he was participating in, he is very sorry, because he feels guilty for what is happening. At the moment when John was speaking, Elizabeth confesses, assuming the guilt of her husband and saying that she is to blame for the adultery, since she was a cold wife who caused John's search for affection in other women.

Read the following passage and determine the author's use of symbolism.
just olya [345]

Answer:

bad experiences

Explanation:

According to the excerpt, North Dakota symbolized bad experiences for Sofia. As she left North Dakota, she had no intentions of coming back, and this is most likely because of the bad experiences she had. It must have been so terrible living in North Dakota because she believed that her bird felt stifled.

She released her bird to have the freedom that was not available to it in North Dakota. She herself moved on to freedom in Montana. She believed that she would have a new beginning in Montana with better experiences.

In "The Dream Comes True," how does Tenzing Norgay develop the idea that he's setting the record straight about his Mount Everes
Ludmilka [50]
The narrator starts off by correcting Hillary's account and telling his own version of the story - and then, he supplements the story with a previously unknown detail: who made it first to the top.

Right from the beginning, he says that Hillary's account was not completely true. Hillary had claimed that the narrator ran out of breath many times. However, according to the narrator, both of them were equally hardy, and both of them equally supported each other.

Then, he goes on to explain how the two of them were partners, rather than the one who leads and the one who follows. Neither of them would have made it without the other. Mountaineers know this, he says, but common people only wish to know who it was that first made it to the top. And then, he uncovers this detail: it was Hillary who first stepped there. Thereby, the narrator reinforces his position, as the person who tells the truth, even when it is unfavorable to him.
