Answer:

  e. Exponential growth occurs when a population increases at a fixed percentage of every generation.

Step-by-step explanation:

Exponential growth occurs when the amount of increase is proportional to the population. That is, the increase is a fixed percentage of the population in any given time period (generation).

__

Many populations appear to have exponential growth when resources are effectively unlimited. The growth can be rapid, but isn't always. At some point, the population generally finds a limit to its growth, which then <em>ceases to be exponential</em>.

A function describing population growth that is jointly proportional to population and available resources is called a <em>logistic function</em>. It has an exponential component, but is not an exponential function.

Parallel lines

Lines that are always at a given distance from each other and never cross, is called the "parallel" line.

If a diagonal line (PS) interrupts two parallel lines and gives them equal angles, can say that these two lines are parallel. Because the angles are opposite to the vertex and has it opposite angles with other angle

Sorry i can not say this, Because the educational system is different

Kellen's boat travels 15 mph. find the rate of the river current if she can travel 2 mi upstream in the same amount of time she
Vladimir79 [104]
If the speed of the stream is x
Time is given by d/r , where r is the rate and d is the distance;
Rate for upstream = (15-x) mph and that of down stream is (15 +x) mph
The time taken will be the same;
Thus; 2/(15-x) = 4/(15+x)
         cross multiplying;
30 +2x = 60 -4x
   6x = 30
   x =5
Therefore the rate of the river is 5 mph

romeo ordered a bouquet of roses for his girlfriend. each rose cost $2.95. and the delivery charge was $8.50. if the total cost
LenaWriter [7]
Okay first you should subtract 8.50 from 61.60 because the delivery charge doesn't count. 61.60-8.50=53.1. now divide 53.1 by 2.95. 53.1÷2.95=18. Romeo ordered 18 roses for his girlfriend.
