This is an adverb that translates into immediately  and means here that the parents took their child to their house at once or instantly. This is an adverb that translates into fortunately  and means here thatit is fortunate that the child did not suffer damages. In conclusion, a lot of adverbs can also be formed with adjectives by using the following formula:
