What are the major causes of 1st world war
irinina [24]

Answer:

European Expansionism. ...

Serbian Nationalism. ...

The Assassination of Franz Ferdinand. ...

Conflicts over Alliances. ...

The Blank Check Assurance: Conspired Plans of Germany and Austria-Hungary. ...

Germany Millenarianism – Spirit of 1914.

Explanation: The immediate cause of World War I that made the aforementioned items come into play (alliances, imperialism, militarism, nationalism) was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary. In June 1914, a Serbian-nationalist terrorist group called the Black Hand sent groups to assassinate the Archduke.

Who won World War 1?

The war pitted the Central Powers—mainly Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey—against the Allies—mainly France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Japan, and, from 1917, the United States. It ended with the defeat of the Central Powers.

Why did Germany start ww1?

The war was started by the leaders of Germany and Austria-Hungary. Vienna seized the opportunity presented by the assassination of the archduke to attempt to destroy its Balkan rival Serbia. ... The best that can be said of German and Austrian leaders in the July crisis is that they took criminal risks with world peace.

Hope this helps you

Which abolitionist argument is MOST rooted in religion, according to the excerpt?
Salsk061 [2.6K]
The abolitionist argument that is most rooted in religion, according to the excerpt, is that God does not consider one race inferior to another. The author clearly states that the color of one's skin is irrelevant when it comes to human relations, and that ultimately, black people should not be slaves merely because they are black - they are certainly not inferior to white people.
