It has helped show us that an attack on U.S. soil can happen at any moment. 2. That we are not invincible. Even the greats must fall one day. 3. It has helped advance our technology so we have more security but it also helps hackers spy on us. These are all the reasons that I could think of that would help. I hope this helps.
