Wow! You now know so much about Peru! A friend of yours is preparing to study abroad and has selected Peru but he knows nothing
Tom [10]
Peru’s name may come from the Spanish misapplication of the Quechua word pelu, meaning a river.[21]
Spaniards may have brought potato starts from Peru to Europe as early as 1562. Ancient Peruvians domesticated the potato as far back as 8,000 years ago. Today, it is the world’s fourth-largest food crop. There are over 3,000 different varieties grown in Peru.[12]
Peru was officially declared the world’s biggest producer of cocaine in 2013 by the United Nations. Peru’s cocaine industry takes in about US$1 billion per year in under-the-table money and employs some 200,000 Peruvians.[5]
Peru is the sixth-largest producer of gold in the world. According to Thomson Reuters, Peru produced 162 tons of gold, worth over US$6.3 billion in 2010. Fourteen percent of Peru’s government revenue is provided by gold.[18]
Peru grows over 55 varieties of corn, and consumers can find it in colors ranging from yellow to purple, white, and black. Ancient Peruvians used corn for bartering and as a form of currency as well as for food.[18]

Which sectors of the population has Latinx gained acceptance and why?
inessss [21]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

You did not mention the time, the moment in history, or any specific election. However, we can answer in general terms.

The sectors of the population where Latins gained acceptance in the United States society are basically in the business sector and some government offices in states such as California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, New York, Connecticut, and Illinois.

Latinos have increased their presence in public offices and in the corporate world of the above-mentioned states. For instance, Mexicans have a strong presence in places such as Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tucson, Connecticut, Texas, and Chicago.

Puerto Ricans and Dominicans have a strong presence in New York. Cubans, in the state of Florida.

Demonstrative adjectives
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

There are three demonstrative adjectives in Spanish. I will be using the masculine versions for now:

1. Este meaning this - something that's close to you.

2. Ese meaning that - something's that still fairly close to you but not that far away.

3. Aquel meaning that - Aquel and ese are quite similar, but aquel means it's pretty far away.

How the demonstrative adjective changes based on the subject:

Masculine singular: Este, Ese, Aquel

Feminine singular: Esta, Esa, Aquella

Masculine plural: Estos, Esos, Aquellos

Feminine plural: Estas, Esas, Aquellas

Example sentences:

Este profesor habla mucho = This teacher talks a lot

Esa camisa es bonita = That shirt (you’re wearing) is pretty

Aquellos estudiantes no comprenden = Those students (over there) don’t understand

Esta chica está lista = This girl is ready

Esos libros son estúpidos = Those books (you just picked up) are stupid

Me gusta aquella casa = I like that house (on the other side of the street)
