Pride and Freedom

Explanation:

I think two American values that will help do this would be pride and freedom. Even though these two values are very controversial and can even go against each other at times, I believe they are the best values towards a better future. Americans value their pride and consider themselves the best. Even though this belief is very self centered and arrogant it does help in pushing for the best possible results in everything. Freedom on the other hand is also another great value. America is one of the countries with the least amount of Freedom yet its citizens value it more than most citizens in other countries and continuously fight for more.
