b.) I think that the Hoyt urban structure model best applies to the city shown on the map (Chicago). The Hoyt urban structure model best represents the city of Chicago shown on the map because in the Central business district you are able to discern that there are not many people that live there but there are many different races that live there. You can also tell where the high and low class residential areas are and where the industry area is.

c.) There are lower-income households in a certain location, and CBD is located in the center. Latin America has a spine and is more complicated, but North America is simpler, with the outlying tiers around the core.
