Please help means a lot
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

1) The players said that their captain had injured himself badly.

2) The doctor ordered the patient not to smoke anymore.

3) My friend suggested that we should meet the captain.

4) The mother said the rain would soon stop and that we could go out to play.

5) The man asked the policeman if he could show him the way to the station.

Explanation:

The most important thing when transforming reported to indirect speech is the tense shift. We shift to "a backward tense" (Present Simple to Past Simple, Past Simple/Present Perfect to Past Perfect, will to would, can to could etc.)

Also the verb changes depending on the context of the sentence (an order, suggestion, proposal, information etc.)

Note the change in possesive and personal pronouns.

It is a hidden fault in the design that causes this, howler, they are now very sentient beings and not just robots.

They have developed feelings and thoughts for themselves.
