Answer:

Y =-7 and X -3

Solution:

4x-2y=2

2(2x-y)=2⋅1

2x-y=1

and y+4=x

∴y-x=-4

Suppose,

2x-y=1→(1)

and -x+y=-4→(2)

Taking equation (1), we have

2x-y=1

⇒y=2x-1→(3)

Putting y=2x-1 in equation (2), we get

-x+y=-4

-x+(2x-1)=-4

⇒-x+2x-1=-4

⇒x-1=-4

⇒x=-4+1

⇒x=-3

⇒x=-3→(4)

Now, Putting x=-3 in equation (3), we get

y=2x-1

⇒y=2(-3)-1

⇒y=-6-1

⇒y=-7

∴y=-7andx=-3

2. 84

3.$9.10

4. 460 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

1. divide 1.45 by 8 to get price per apple

1.45/8=0.18

2. convert 70% into a decimal

70%=.70

multiply by amount

120(.70)=84

3. convert 20% into a decimal

20%=.20

multiply by amount

45.50(.20)=9.10

A country's population in 1992 was 72 million. In 1998 it was 76 million. Estimate the population in 2012 using the exponential
stepan [7]
We assume the annual percentage increase is the same. We will work out the constant k using the formula

We have
P = 76
A = 72
t = 6 years (from 1992 to 1998)

Substitute into the formula
76=72e^{6k}
\frac{76}{72}=e^{8k}
Take log both sides give
ln( \frac{76}{72})=ln(e^{6k})
0.05406722127=6k
k=0.009

We can now work out the number of population by the end of 2012 using the formula

We have
A = 72 million
k = 0.009
t = 10 years (1992 to 2012)

P=72e^{0.009*10}P=78.78≈79 million

in the number 66 there are "2" circles in them and so the answer we get 2

in the number 99 there are "2" circles and so the answer there is 2

in the number 888 there are "6" circles so the answer is 6

in the number 00 there are "2" circles that's the answer

in the number 7777 there are no circles so the answer is 0

we keep on going like that......

in the number 2876 there are 3 circles 2 in the number 8 and 1 in the number 6

hope this helped :D
