Would someone mind helping me? I really need this answer but I'm so confused. I would appreciate any help :) and if you get the
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

When reading, you'll notice that the author primarily focuses on having the city change this, not the students or parents themselves. That rules out B and C. Furthermore, the author does not mention anything about the time the students get out, but rather, how dangerous the roads are. That rules out A.

I think the answer is D because of how much the author talks about the hazardous road conditions, so we can infer that the children are in danger when walking on Green Street.

How did Thoreau’s general opinion of government relate to his imprisonment, as described in "Civil Disobedience"?
Leya [2.2K]
Thoreau's imprisonment occurred because he did not support his government for which he felt was war-mongering and supported slavery. He was imprisoned because of it and urged every civilized citizen to do the same. Just as his imprisonment was unfair, so was the government's behavior towards African Americans and anyone who opposed it.
