Answer:

5x+6y=12  I will do y and x slope-intercept form

Answer: y=-\frac{5}{6} x+2

-3x-2y=4 I will do the same method

Answer: y=-\frac{3}{2}x-2

Step-by-step planation:

How I got my answer I took 5x and put it on the right side and I changed the sign which looks like 6y=12-5x then I would divide the equation by 6 which looks y=2-\frac{5}{6} x Then I use commutative property and reorder the terms

y=-\frac{5}{6}x+2 and that is the answer.

I put the -3x and on the right side and make it -2y=4+3x then I changed both signs of the equation which is the -2y 2y=-4-3x then I divided both sides of the equation by 2 y=-2-\frac{3}{2}x and use the commutative property and reorder the terms y=-\frac{3}{2}x-2 which is the answer.

En una tienda de electrodomesticos , una nevera con un precio de 260€ fue rebajada un 15% ; al cabo de un mes volvieron a rebaja
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

Part 1) The price after the second discount is 187.85€

Part 2) The percentage of total variation is 27.75%

Step-by-step explanation:

The question in English is

In an appliance store, a refrigerator with a price of 260€ was discounted by 15%; after one month it was discounted by another 15%. What is the price after the second discount? What is the percentage of total variation?

Part 1)

<em>Find out the price after the second discount</em>

we know that

15\%=15/100=0.15

A) The first discount is equal to

260€(0.15)=39€

The price after the first discount is equal to

260€-39€=221€

B) The second discount is equal to

221€(0.15)=33.15€

The price after the second discount is equal to

221€-33.15€=187.85€

Part 2) Find out the percentage of total variation

we know that

The original price of 260€ represent the 100%

by using proportion

Find out the percentage that represent (260€-187.85€)=72.15€

\frac{260}{100}=\frac{72.15}{x}\\ \\x=72.15*100/260\\ \\x=27.75\%

Paul's Pizzeria sells 45 cheese pizzas and 20 pepperoni pizzas each week. What is the ratio of cheese pizzas to pepperoni pizzas
Inga [223]
A ratio can be written 3 ways.

1. a to b

2. a:b

3. a
   ----
    b

Now when we are working with ratios we ALWAYS put the numbers the way the question asks.

It says wat is the ratio of cheese pizzas to pepperoni pizzas sold each week, So we need to put the amount of cheese pizzas 1st, then the amount of pepperoni pizzas.

45:20

45 to 20

 45
------
 20

Now we will SIMPLIFY.

45 ÷ 5 = 9

20 ÷ 5 = 4

So, our new ratio would be C. 9:4.

Hope I helped ya!!
