Answer:

I disagree, because the judicial system isn't always correct. Chances are if you are innocent you got framed because, most likely the criminal in question probably framed you so, he or she would not go to prison. Other which is probably a small chance is that it was on complete accident and you went to the court for it. The judicial system has lawyers, judges, juries, etc. This all makes the system very strong and, makes the truth probably come out like 95% of the time. However, because we are still human there is the other 5%. Therefore, I and you should always be scared of the judicial system even if you are innocent.

Is this ethos, pathos, or logos?
AlekseyPX

Answer:

Ethos Or even Pathos.

Explanation:

Ethos - I believe this excerpt pertains to the activists writing about the world leaders and their movement/ actions towards gender equality, what they've essentially done so far. It would seem that the world leaders' actions towards this subject is slow and slow seems unacceptable to these activists. Such a background is low standard

Pathos - As read from the activists, there is a sense of frustration in their speech. Slow action of the world leaders on gender equality fuel this frustration as the activists claim, they've "promised" to quicken it's process. Also, based on only the line "this is unacceptable", it exhibits the passion had on the subject.

Instructions:Select the correct answer from each drop-down menu.
serg [7]
1. The repetition of the term "sacred cheese" invokes the idea of seeming powerless and caught in a trap. The narrator is complaining about his sad fate to see the land in front of him after his ship was destroyed, but being unable to reach that land and save himself. The sacred cheese is the food that a hungry person sees and wants to have, but something is preventing him from having it, the same way that something is preventing these shipwrecked people from reaching the island and saving themselves from certain death.
2. This idea is in keeping with the theme of the story that humans are subservient to nature's power. The entire story written by Crane is talking about how people want to control nature, but are ultimately unable to do so because nature is the actual ruler, and not people. People may think they are able to control nature, but in cases such as this one in the story, we can see how we are powerless when faced with nature and all of its glory and strength. It controls are fates and destinies, and it is the one who will decide whether we live or die.
