Could someone write me a personal narrative it can be your idea
GuDViN [60]

I still can not believe How foolish I was to have believed that young women, she had the most peaceful face I had ever seen.

It was quite late that night on Central station, I was going back home coming back from Cleveland. Engrossed in my thoughts, she approached and made me realized that I had dropped a silk handkerchief. At that moment I came back to reality, looked at it and told her it wasn´t mine. She said I was the only stylish men among the station that's why she was sure it was mine. I felt flattered and started talking to her. We talked for a few minutes and we realized we lived close. She lived on Amsterdam and 22nd St.  That´s I offer her a ride on my cab.e   When we arrived we walked a few blocks, I told her my building, suddenly the door was opened and all my family and friends came through the door singing happy birthday to me. That girl was my cousin from San Diego that haven´t seen since I was a kid and charmed me to take me home to the party.

KiRa [710]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

You forgot to include the two articles, or further links, or references.  Without those articles, we do not know what you are talking about.

However, trying to help you, what we can do is to answer in the following general terms about the Maya society.

A common central idea of the articles that have been written about the Maya civilization is that they were great astronomers who liked to observe the stars and possessed a total understanding of the concept of time.

That is why the Mayas built observatories like the one in Chichen Itza, Yucatán, México. This precious building is in good condition and can be visited by tourists.

That is why the Maya society understood the use of time with three important calendars they developed.

The Tzolkin was the divine calendar and consisted of 26 days with 20 months of 13 days.

The Haab was a solar calendar that included 365 days. These days were divided into 18 months of 20 days, and the Uayebm the month with just five days.

The Long Count Calendar was the universal cycle for the Maya civilization and was used to track longer periods.

1. How does Fitzgerald's use of color create a particular effect
kirill [66]

Fitzgerald uses white to represent purity and innocence and the figures of speech give the passage a light mood along with the image of floating girls.

<h3>Analyzing the passage from "The Great Gatsby"</h3>

We can develop the answer and analyze the passage as follows:

  1. Fitzgerald uses color to represent different feelings. In the passage, he uses white to convey a sense of purity and innocence, as if the narrator is entering heaven.
  2. He uses simile in "like pale flags" and metaphor in "the frosted-cake of the ceiling." "The whip and snap of the curtains" is an onomatopoeia, representing sound. Such figures of speech give the passage a light and vivacious mood.
  3. One image that is quite appealing is that of the girls being balloons, floating around the house and then slowly coming back to the floor. This image conveys a sense of joy and wonder, as if there is something magical about those girls.
  4. A sound that would fit the situation is "whoosh" because of the wind coming in through the windows and moving everything around the room.

damaskus [11]
Complete sentence. The comma is used the right way so it wouldnt be a comma splice, and if you replaced the comma with a period it would be wrong, so not a run on. That is why it is a complete sentence
