Answer:

It may be that synthesis in population dynamics has been slow to emerge because population change is more complicated than it first appears. After all, population change is determined ultimately by only four factors: birth, death, immigration, and emigration.

Explanation:

Research has shown that population size and growth are important factors in the emission of greenhouse gases. ... While population-driven emissions from developed nations are estimated to contribute 42 percent of CO2 emissions between 1985 and 2020, they are expected to contribute only 3 percent between 2025 and 2100.

If sewage is only partially treated before it is disposed of, it can contaminate water and harm huge amounts of wildlife. Alternatively, leaking or flooding can cause completely untreated sewage to enter rivers and other water sources, causing them to become polluted. The consequences aren't great

Factors influencing population growth

+Economic development. ...

+Education. ...

+Quality of children. ...

+Welfare payments/State pensions. ...

+Social and cultural factors. ...

+Availability of family planning. ...

+Female labour market participation. ...

+Death rates – Level of medical provision.

10 points! When looking out of my back door, I see robins, blue jays, finches, crows, hawks and owls all living in the same area
forsale [732]

The possibility for all of the mentioned birds to live all in a same area is because they are all specialized and occupy a certain niche in the food chain, thus not standing in each others ways when it comes to competition for food.

All of these birds have adapted to be able to survive in their respective environment, developing characteristics that will enable them to be superior in something. Through natural selection, the individuals that were performing better, got the chance to mate, thus the offspring was better adapted and stronger in its niche of the food chain.

The robins and the blue jays are birds that are very opportunistic in their food choice, thus giving them greater flexibility and ability to survive, they mostly feed on worms, insects, fruits, vegetables, so they have a big menu.

The finches are specialized in eating nuts and seeds, thus avoiding the competition with the previous two, thus having that food type for themselves.

The owls and hawks are both birds of pray, but the owls hunt mostly at night, while the eagles during the day. Also, the owls prefer to have rodents as their pray, while the hawks are mostly eating other birds, thus not standing in each other's ways.

________ allow materials to be exchanged between the blood and tissues, ________ carry blood towards the heart, and ________ car
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

b.  Capillaries; veins; arteries

Explanation:

Capillaries are the blood vessels with very thin walls. They serve as a site for an exchange of substances such as respiratory gases, nutrients, and toxins between the blood and the cells of the tissues. Veins are the blood vessels that mostly pick the deoxygenated blood from the body cells and deliver it to the heart for oxygenation. On the other hand, arteries are the blood vessels that mostly carry the oxygen-rich blood. They pick the oxygenated blood from the heart and deliver it to body cells. Therefore, veins carry blood towards the heart while arteries carry it away from the heart.
