Answer:

Most German immigrants emigrated to the USA, during colonization, to escape religious persecution. However, after the first world war more German immigrants went to the USA looking for better living conditions. They chose Texas because it was a good place for agricultural activities. Some examples of German culture in Texas are the establishment of family farming and the existence of facilities with the characteristic architecture of Germany, where the construction of walls with overlapping wooden hases is observed.

Explanation:

The Germans immigrated in masses to the USA during the colonial era and after the first world war. On both occasions the Germans were in search of better living conditions, since they could not find them in Germany, however, immigration during colonial America was carried out mainly by the search for religious freedom.

Texas was one of the states that most attracted Germans, because Texas offered good conditions for agriculture and most German immigrants had a rural origin. As characteristics of German culture, we can mention the establishment of family farming, German architecture and the dialect that mixed words in English and German.
