We can see from Paragraph 2 that Truth actually develops her argument through making an initial statement which she followed by stating her personal examples to challenge the initial statement.

She kept giving her own personal examples to show that she is a woman who has not been treated like the woman the man referred to at the beginning of the paragraph.
