Hello. Although you have submitted a text, you have not submitted any questions related to it. This makes it impossible for me to give you an answer. however, to help you, I will explain to you what is happening in this text.

This text is an excerpt from the book "Odisseia" that tells the adventures of Odisseu, king of Itaca, when he was trying to return home, after being away for more than ten years.

This passage is spoken by Teiresias, a prophet who tells Odysseus that he will be able to return home, but on the way he will meet the sacred cattle of the god Helium. This cattle must be left alone and neither Odysseus nor any of his crew must touch the cattle so that they can get home.

Did absalom receive a fair punishment for his crime? why or why not?
GenaCL600 [577]

It may have been an unfair decision but sadly the judge had to uphold the law and what sealed Absalom’s fate was the fact that he fired the shot that killed the servant even if it was out of fear.  At the very least, the other two should not have absolved and instead should have also been given some kind of sentence because all three of them entered the house and it was clear what their intention was.

Part A
irga5000 [103]

Answer:

For Part A:

No one believes liars even when they are telling the truth.

For Part B:

"At last a Wolf really did come, and the Boy cried, 'Wolf! wolf!' as loud as he could: but the people were so used to hearing him call that they took no notice of his cries for help."

Explanation:

For Part A, the theme must be reasonable. The theme "No one believes liars even when they are telling the truth." is the most practical since it states the lesson the author wants the readers and the protagonist to learn. For Part B, the evidence best supports the theme. Because it says that the people were already not believing the boy since he called so many times as a joke. Therefore, for Part A, the answer is C, and the answer for Part B is also C.
