One of my favorite literary work is "Candide" by Voltaire. The book is a satire that mocks the optimism of humanity and the hypocrisy of religion, as well as how money can motivate one to enact unconventional behaviors. Voltaire was a French writer who has published many works during his lifetime that recorded his personal journey and the world around him, and his most famous work is the novel "Candide".
