What is the effect of the shirt lines that conclude each stanza in Whitman’s poem
musickatia [10]

Answer:

Ralph Waldo Emerson and Walt Whitman emphasize the importance of living true to yourself and developing complete self-acceptance. To live a genuine life and completely accept who you are, you must understand your identity and your sense of self. HELP PLEASE (BRAINIEST and 50 points)
ladessa [460]
Okay so
passage 1: Passage one has a mostly positive tone. Allow me to explain. The words used can set a peaceful, calm mood and allow you to paint a beautiful picture in your mind. Words such as bobbed, lapped and quaint suggest calm movements and an enjoyable environment. However Passage 2 is mostly negative in tone. This scene, unlike passage 1 sets a miserable, dark mood, and seems like an unlikely place to be comfortable in. Words such as ragged, frigid, slapped and weathered suggests a worn raft, cold waters, and miserable conditions, perhaps life threatening. Therefore, it is negative in tone. To sum up everything previously stated, passage 1 has a mostly positive tone, whereas passage 2 is mostly negative.
