1. i’m not sure where you live, but the seam and district 12 is very run down and isn’t extremely clean. if i remember correctly she has to hunt for most of her food and most everyone there is very poor. use that to compare to where you live

3. gale and katniss’s relationship can differ based on how the reader interpreted it. it could come across as romantic, and is implied to have some sort of romantic tension or background, or it could come across as a strong friendship. somewhat like allies. nonetheless, they have a strong bond.

4. katniss’s family is very poor, and because she’s the oldest daughter (and is also very talented and capable) she is the one who takes care of her family the most. she’s willing to put her name in the tesserae several times to get resources for her family.
