Answer:

Dear sir or madam,

This letter aims to express my views about global warming and what we should do about it.

Global warming is affecting our planet in ways that we have never imagined. There are floods, hurricanes, droughts, and extreme weather conditions. They affect our economy and the life of millions of people. Cities are destroyed, harvests are lost, and people die due to the different consequences that this generates.

We all must take care of our planet since it is the only one that we have. To stop global warming, we should buy products that do not harm the Earth. Also, we should reduce the emission of toxic gasses, and lastly, we should reduce our carbon footprint.

Global warming is dangerous. If we do not act now, the consequences will be worse. We all should do our part to stop it.

Yours faithfully,

Ankita.

Explanation:

A letter has three parts:

  • Introduction: This is the first paragraph. In this section, we address our readers and introduce the letter's topic.
  • Body: it can have multiple paragraphs. In this case, it has two, the first one describes how global warming affects our planet, and the second one tells the reader what we should do about it.
  • Closing Paragraph: In this part, we should write a closing sentence and say our goodbyes.

In this case, as it is a letter to a newspaper, we should use formal language.

Has the guards character changed at all since the beginning of the play? How would you describe the character using evidence fro
nalin [4]

Answer:

The guards character in the play "Antigone" by Sophocles are indifferent, They are eternally indifferent and ready to serve.

Explanation:

The guards follow orders and are indifferent as well as innocent. Which means they can serve any power that be and have no particular loyalty to Creaon.

The guards are like men left  untouched by the tragedy that unfolds in front of them. each of the guards are indistinguishable from the cohorts. They are three guards can be called the 'indifferent trio'.

When the chorus notes that the tragedy is "no skin of their backs", the indifferent trio remembers the guardsmen from Anouilh's other tragedies like the guards whose chatter about the harvest close his medea. The chorus made this clear in the prologue and epilogue.

The characters of Watson and Holmes are in direct contrast to one another. In a well-composed essay, compare and contrast these
monitta

Answer and Explanation:

Sherlock Holes and Dr. Watson are fictional characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Holmes is a well-known and highly intelligent researcher, who is efficiently assisted by Dr. Watson in a series of books.

Although this pair of characters has become iconic and has been portrayed in several adaptations, as well as being a symbol of current pop culture, there are many differences and similarities between the two. Among the similarities we can mention the fact that both are extremely intelligent, correct and cultured men. However, we cannot deny that Holmes is a more focused and observant character, which ensures that he makes such incredible discoveries. Dr. Holmes, on the other hand, is a more science, study, and philosophy-oriented man, which provides highly effective support for Holmes' discoveries.

The difference between the two characters makes them complete each other and are such a dynamic duo, where each complements the other's flaws. However, the differences between them, promote a striking personality in each one and this was the main objective of the author to unite such contrasting personalities, but that work so well.
