ExplanationoThis can easily be explained and narrowed down by using the process of elimination. It is clearly evident that the author is not trying to persuade anyone to do anything, there is no motive. A narrative would have more of a contextualized storyline. This leaves Expository as the answer. This can also be inferred as the correct answer by the vast amount of detail this author put into telling the reader about ice skating. A good rule; If you believe the author is trying to make it seem like you are there doing whatever they are doing too, then it is an Expository Essay.
