The Pacific Theater led by Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz was a series of battles that included many naval battles and brutal Island-Hopping campaigns.

The Pacific Theater had more aerial combat, due to the fat that they were trying to sink Japanese ships. Compared to the new and vast technological advantages and breakthroughs made before war, there were more aircrafts with the addition of carrier ships during the Pacific Theater.

The United States finally decided to join the World War I on side of the Allies mainly because of the following 2 reasons:


* The first one was the proposal made to Mexico in order to join the war against the allies, which meant the war was getting closer to American land.


*   The second one was the German submarine attacks on American merchant ships.  

After these two events took place, Woodrow Wilson the American president at the time talked to the Congress and requested it to declare war on Germany. And finally the Congress declared the war on April 6th, 1917.

Galloway proposed the formation of an American colonial parliament to act with the Parliament of the Great Britain. The parliament would involve a President-General which would be chosen by the colonial congresses. Galloway’s plan would have retained the British Empire calm, while permitting the colonies to have their opinions over their peculiar matters. It was not acknowledged by the Congress, which directed to the divergence of argument with the extremists that increases the upper hand due to the presence of the Suffolk Resolves at the congress. It was beaten by a vote of six to five on October 1774.
