If x is equaled to 10 then you will place 10 into 3 and it would look like this 3(10) + 5y= 20 now your next step is to multiply 3•10=30 so 30+5y=20 now all you have to do is 20- (-30)= -10 and then divide by 5 and it’s equal to -10/5= -2
