What is an untested claim example that someone might say on an everyday basis?
Katyanochek1 [597]

From the question I don't know if this is right but I would say, something like. It might rain today because you can look up and see if it's going to you don't really need to argue it unless it's bright and sunny with absolutely no clouds, but under normal circumstances others won't test it.

Complete the sentence. After you have used context clues to determine the meaning of an unfamiliar word, you should _____
Pepsi [2]

D.  look up the unfamiliar word in a dictionary to check its meaning.

Context clues will always provide hints with regard to helping readers figure out what a word  or term means.  However, after figuring out what a word means based upon context clues (which should only be considered the first step), what you should do is look up the word in question.  This should be done so you could check your interpretation as well as help you commit the new word or term to memory.
