Air current

Prevailing winds bring air from one type of climate to another. For example, warm winds that travel over water tend to collect moisture as they travel; the water vapor in the air will condense as it moves into colder climates, which is why temperate coastal areas often receive heavy rainfall.

Ocean currents

act much like a conveyor belt, transporting warm water and precipitation from the equator toward the poles and cold water from the poles back to the tropics. Thus, ocean currents regulate global climate, helping to counteract the uneven distribution of solar radiation reaching Earth's surface.

The _____ model of a systems development life cycle provides for progressive development of operational software, with each rele
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

B. Incremental Build life cycle

Explanation:

RAD life cycle: RAD model of software development life cycle is all about coming up with prototype as soon as possible. It describes a method of software development which heavily emphasizes rapid prototyping and iterative delivery.

Incremental build life cycle: In incremental build model of software development life cycle, each release of the software have added capabilities. The development is finished when the user is okay with the present features. Focus is put on creating a working prototype first and adding features in the development life cycle. This is the correct option.

Waterfall life cycle: In a waterfall model, each phase must be completed fully before the next phase can begin and this usually takes time before a working software can be released. There is also no overlapping in the phases.

Spiral life cycle: Spiral Model can be pretty costly to use and doesn't work well for small projects. It's a risk-driven model which means that the overall success of a project highly depends on the risks analysis phase.

Using recursion, write a program that asks a user to enter the starting coordinates (row, then column), the ending coordinates (
Luden [163]

Answer:

The program in Python is as follows

def Paths(row,col):

if row ==0 or col==0:

 return 1

return (Paths(row-1, col) + Paths(row, col-1))

row = int(input("Row: "))

col = int(input("Column: "))

print("Paths: ", Paths(row,col))

Explanation:

This defines the function

def Paths(row,col):

If row or column is 0, the function returns 1

<em> if row ==0 or col==0: </em>

<em>  return 1 </em>

This calls the function recursively, as long as row and col are greater than 1

<em> return (Paths(row-1, col) + Paths(row, col-1))</em>

The main begins here

This prompts the user for rows

row = int(input("Row: "))

This prompts the user for columns

col = int(input("Column: "))

This calls the Paths function and prints the number of paths

print("Paths: ", Paths(row,col))
