The answer is D. B has the number 3 has the first numbers so that’s not it. C has the number 4 has the first numbers so thats not it. D is the only one that have different numbers in first numbers in the order (5, 8, 9)

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

the x (first number in the ordered pair) cant match with another x

in every other line, the x repeats which makes the function thing make a diagonal line instead. **khan academy explains it well btw**

If you show work I will award brainliest. Only one question in picture.
djyliett [7]

Answer:

d=7-2/3f

Step-by-step explanation:

Move the variable to the right-hand side and change its sign- 3d=21-2f

Divide both sides of the equation by 3- d=7-2/3f

Write the solution d in parametric form- d=7-2/3f

Solution- d=7-2/3f

What is the price elasticity of the demand for skateboards, when A shop owner wants to know what the effect would be of increasi
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer: The price elasticity of the demand for skateboards = 0.6.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Original price of skate boards = $200

Quantity of skate board = 10

New price of skate boards = $300

Quantity of skate board = 7

Since we know that "Price of commodity is inversely related to quantity demanded."

So, price elasticity of demand is given by

e_d=\frac{\Delta q}{\Delta p}\times \frac{P}{Q}\\\\e_d=\frac{10-7}{300-200}\times \frac{200}{10}\\\\e_d=\frac{3}{100}\times 20\\\\e_d=\frac{3}{5}=0.6

Hence, the price elasticity of the demand for skateboards = 0.6.

Suppose you have a bag containing 15 red beads, 12 white beads and 8 black beads. You are going to draw one bead out of the bag.
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

probability that you draw a black bead or a white bead that is P(E1 U E2)

= 20/35 = 0.571

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a bag containing 15 red beads, 12 white beads and 8 black beads

n(S) = 15 + 12 +8 = 35

Let 'E1 be the event of selecting black beads and E2 be the event of selecting white beads

n(E1) = 8 and n(E2) = 12

Probability of draw a black bead P( E1 ) = \frac{n(E_{1} )}{n(S)}

                                                      P(E_{1}) = \frac{8}{35}

Probability of draw a white bead P( E2 ) = \frac{n(E_{2} )}{n(S)}

                                                    P(E_{2}) = \frac{12}{35}

probability that you draw a black bead or a white bead that is P(E1 U E2)

and E1 n E2 = ∅ (disjoint events)

<u>Axiom of union </u>

<u></u>P(E_{1}UE_{2} ) = P(E_{1})+P(E_{2}) - P(E_{1}nE_{2})\\<u></u>

E1 n E2 = ∅ ⇒ P(E1 n E2) = p(∅) = 0

P(E_{1}UE_{2} ) = P(E_{1})+P(E_{2}) - 0

P(E_{1}UE_{2} ) = \frac{8}{35} +\frac{12}{35}

P(E_{1}UE_{2} ) = \frac{20}{35}

P(E_{1}UE_{2} ) = 0.571
