It shows that there is a order, and the reader wont get mixed up from a bunch of commas, or a run on sentence.

If I could learn any skill I would learn the ability to work under pressure. Working under pressure can be hard, especially for someone with anxiety. Being able to work under pressure would mean that I wouldn't mess up as easily and I could keep from having a complete breakdown. This skill could help me get and keep a job and help when I begin pursuing my ideal career.
The climax of a story is what the story revolves around, or the problem the character(s) is facing.
