GIVEN:

 • y = 2x - 5 ...(1)
 • y = - 3x + 10 ...(2)

ANSWER:

From eq(1),

2x - 5 = - 3x + 10

2x + 3x = 10 + 5

5x = 15

x = 3.

So, y = 2 × 3 - 5 = 1.

Answer:

Solution given:

y=2x-5......1.

y=-3x+10.....2.

equating equation 1 &2

2x-5=-3x+10

2x+3x=10+5

x=15/5

x=3

again

y=2×3-5=1

so

x,y=3,1 is your answer.

How do I solve this system of equations? Help ASAP!

-4x+9Y=9
X-3Y=-6
const2013 [10]
-4x + 9y = 9...............(1)
x - 3y = -6 Multiply through by 3:-
3x - 9y = -18..............(2)

adding equations (1) and (3):-

-x = -9

x = 9

Substitute for x in equation (1)
-4(9) + 9y = 9
-36 + 9y = 9
9y = 45
y = 5

Answer is x = 9 and y = 5
