There are many reasons as to why indifference is a sin. One of the main reasons is that it teaches people that change isn't possible, when we all know it for sure is. A lot of people think the opposite of love is <em>hate</em>, but that is far from the truth. The opposite of love is actually indifference! Indifference also teaches people to settle for less and to not think that they can be successful, when we all have the full potential to be successful.
