In chapters 24-26 we are able to understand how Atticus acts in relation to Tom's death and how he delivers this news to Tom's family. Atticus is very responsible about how this information will be given, he does not want to appear insensitive, because death Tom's was something that also shook him. However, he does not want to give false hope and that is why he gives the news as realistically as possible, but maintains an unparalleled compassion and kindness.
