Mark brainliest please

The process of decolonization coincided with the new Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States, and with the early development of the new United Nations. Decolonization was often affected by superpower competition, and had a definite impact on the evolution of that competition.

The main cause of decolonization of Asia was due to the fact every country that have been colonized and ruled under the thumb by the colonizing powers have begun to think for themselves and raised their consciousness through the bitter experience and suffering of WW2 and realize that it is about time they take back the charge of their own country.

The Colonial Masters once realised that the people no longer are subdued and compliant and that there is no more opportunity to exploit them or their resources and if they stayed any longer, they not only have to expend funds to hold the countries but a revolt can be costly in terms of lives and expenditure.

So the easiest way out for them would be to abandon ship and in as quick and as dignified a way as possible.

No country can subjugate another for long if the people unite in opposition as one.

Why do presidential powers tend to grow during national emergencies? A) the President has veto power over Congress B) the Federa
anastassius [24]
B: The Federal Government needs to respond quickly.

Congress needs to go through a long and careful process to get things done, not to mention them needing to have the majority of congress agree.

The president/executive branch of the government is made up of much less people, as well as the president himself being commander and chief of the military.

Time is very important during a national emergency, and the president can get things done quickly.

Hope this helps.

quester [9]

President Eisenhower said about integration that integration was a law and therefore needed to be enforced and also followed.

Explanation:

Eisenhower did not like the fact that there was segregation in public schools and other public places. He did not like the racial discrimination and wanted equal rights for blacks as well as whites.

He was for giving all citizens their civil rights in the country but did not speak much about them. He did not act vigorously and therefore was not acknowledged for many of his efforts.

vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

The answer is option D.

Explanation: Jimmy Carter was elected as 39th president of America by defeating Gerald Ford. During the election campaign Jimmy Carter asked Americans to vote him because he could restore American's faith in their government after Watergate scandal which was the cause of resign of President Nixon. Carter presented himself as a reformer to the voter who could bring change. He also took advantage of presidential pardon of Nixon by president Ford. This incident helped him to draw the attention of the voter about the weakness of Ford.

So it can be said that restoring the faith to the government after Watergate scandal worked as a key factor for Carter in the campaign.
