Answer:

the number of years for triple the money is 15.74 years

Explanation:

The computation of the number of years for triple the money is shown below:

Here we used the NPER which is

Given that

RATE = 7% ÷ 12 = 0.58333%

Assuming

Present value be $1,000

And, future value be $1,000 × 3 = $3,000

PMT = $0

The formula is shown below:

= NPER(RATE;PMT;-PV;FV;TYPE)

The present value comes in positive

After applying the above formula

The number of years is

= 188.8833850497 ÷ 12

= 15.74 years

hence, the number of years for triple the money is 15.74 years

Zanzabum

Answer:

C. $370,000

Explanation:

Poodle Corporation was organized on January 3, 2011. The firm was authorized to issue 100,000 shares of $5 par common stock.

During 2011, Poodle had the following transactions relating to shareholders' equity:

Issued 30,000 shares of common stock at $7 per share.

Issued 20,000 shares of common stock at $8 per share.

Reported a net income of $100,000.

Paid dividends of $50,000.

Therefore total Paid-in capital at the end of 2011 is derived by :

(30,000 shares x $7) + (20,000 x $8) = $370,000

Paid - In capital refers to the funds that stockholders have invested through the purchase of stock from the issuing company, including premiums and not just par value.

Job satisfaction questionnaires should always be anonymous to get employees to tell the truth.A. TrueB. False
xenn [34]

Answer:

B. False

Explanation:

I would say that most of the time (the vast majority actually) questionnaires should be anonymous. Imagine if you had to answer a questionnaire about your teacher, and he/she is a really bad teacher. If the questionnaire had your name on it, you would probably be much nicer than if the questionnaire was anonymous (due to the fear of retaliation by the teacher). The same thing happens on any workplace, no one will tell how bad his/her boss is if their name will appear on the questionnaire. Employees will always fear retaliation from their supervisor or manager, so they will not be completely honest.

But on some companies, employees might not fear any type of retaliation, specially on very horizontal organizations (flat structures with few management levels). The advantage of non-anonymous questionnaires is that they can be used to actually solve problems and follow up how the problems were solved or how do employees feel after they were solved.

The problem is that non-anonymous questionnaires work for companies that probably do not need them very much in the first place, while on companies that really need them, they are anonymous.

A firm's natural resource exploitation site will require an expenditure of $5 million to reclaim the site for environmental purp
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

(1) $3.5 million

(2) $1.5 million

Explanation:

The account of natural resources is compounded by the duty to sell the properties, which is the present value of the $5 million to be paid later, or $3.5 million.

Total depletion over most of the life of the project thus increases by this number. Accretion expense is the growth in the obligation over time.

The $3.5 million amount will increase to $5 million in five years, and at that time that amount's expended.

suter [353]

Answer:

Credit Sales = $48100

Explanation:

The credit sales can be calculated by reversing the formula for Closing accounts receivables.

The formula for closing accounts recevables is,

Closing accounts receivables = Opening accounts receivables + Credit sales - collections from accounts receivables

To caculate Credit sales, the formula will be:

Credit sales = Closing accounts receivables + Collections from Accounts receivables - Opening accounts receivables

Credit sales = 14000 + 53200 - 19100 = $48100
