Which sentences contain similes check all that apply
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

2,4,5

Explanation:

A simile compares 2 things using like or as. Examples such as "stood out like a sore thumb" compare something (Sanjay) with something completely unlike the first (a sore thumb) connecting the two with like or as. Use this when looking for a simile in the future.

Describe a character in a series/movie that you idolise thoroughly. You can talk about how they dress, speak, walk, etc.
Nezavi [6.7K]
Parties are often preceded by fun questions, like what to give? Who to bring (if you have a plus one, that is)? When to arrive? And, crucially, what to wear? Most of us don’t just happen to have a floor-length silk gown or a tailcoat hanging around in our closet, waiting for the day our Met Gala invite finally arrives. But would that even be the right kind of thing to wear to such an event? We’ve got answers, and options, for every possible occasion on your social calendar.

What are stereotypes, and how do they affect how we see ourselves and how others see us?
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

hope this helps!

Explanation:

What is stereotyping? Stereotyping is what most of us do, whether we want to admit it or not. For example, we might assume someone doesn’t know how to speak English fluently because of the color of their skin. When we stereotype, we put people in different categories we think they might fit in. When we do this, we give everyone in that category a specific characteristic. For example, fast-food restaurants that provide toys along with kid's meals, assume that boys like to play with cars and girls like to play with dolls. Stereotypes are a problem when they include assumptions about people that are not necessarily accurate.  Stereotyping affects everyone, man or woman. Stereotyping changes the way we look at others and sometimes it changes the way we look at ourselves too. It may make us feel like we're not wanted, and we don't belong, but we do belong.
